Description
The seminar's main objective is to facilitate and strengthen Sri Lanka's participation in the SPS Committee. The seminar will provide an overview of the SPS Agreement and related work of the SPS Committee with a view to enhance participants' understanding and knowledge of the benefits of the Agreement's implementation in Sri Lanka. Special emphasis will be put on the role and functioning of the SPS Committee as well as current workstreams. In addition, participants will benefit from hands-on training on the available databases relevant to the work of the SPS Committee, including the ePing SPS&TBT Platform, the Trade Concerns Database, and eAgenda. The workshop will combine presentations and interactive activities, as well as sharing of experiences by relevant national actors.
