This national capacity building workshop on "rules of origin" is being organized at the request of the government of Mongolia. The purpose of this workshop is to build the capacity of officials on the use of rules of origin in international trade. The activity will cover the use, design and implementation of both preferential and non-preferential rules of origin as well as trends regarding proofs of origin. It will also familiarize participants with the work of the World Trade Organization in this area.
