Description
The course will provide an overview of multilateral subsidies rules as well as an introduction to the application of countervailing duty measures against subsidized imports. This workshop will help Mongolian officials to understand WTO disciplines on subsidies as well as the notification obligations under the SCM Agreement. As requested, the last part of the programme will be dedicated to countervailing calculations. In this regard, introductory information will be provided with respect to the countervailing duty investigations with simulations on the countervailing calculations.
