Objective: At the end of the session participants will have learned about the key disciplines and aspects of the SPS Agreement as well as the work of the SPS Committee.

Indicators:
  • Indicator: Participants opinion

    Evidence: 100% of respondents indicated that this objective had been achieved either to a large extent or fully (boxes 4 or 5 of PEF).

  • Indicator: Participation – frequency and quality of the interventions / questions raised, contribution to group work

    Evidence: Attendance and interest was strong throughout the session. Various questions and comments were raised during the Q&A segment. Follow-up questions by email from participants demonstrated the pertinence of this training session, specifically it's relevance to on-going domestic and regional policy discussions in Belarus.

Conclusion: This objective was achieved through the use of presentations, relevant examples and replies to questions.

Objective: At the end of the session participants will have deepened their understanding about the SPS Agreement and Control, Inspection and Approval Procedures (Annex C), including e-Certification.
