Description
Within this background, the GCC Secretariat General is undertaking to organize on 21 July 2020 through video-conference a GCC Workshop on "Food security, global trade and COVID 19" with the aim of discussing various aspect of food security in relation with international trade and the potential trade restrictive measures taken by countries amid the current spread of COVID 19 and its impact on international trade and food security around the world and in the GCC Members as they are among net- food importing countries.
The Workshop is organized with the valuable participation of experts from the WTO and FAO which they will make a short presentation and take part of discussion while clarifying related-issues, as well as of officials from the GCC Member States. T
