Description
This National Seminar offers specialized training to governmental officials involved in different aspects of trade in agriculture and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) issues, and is tailored to specific characteristics and needs of the country, covering inter alia the provisions of the Agreement on Agriculture (and key issues in the negotiations on Agriculture), of the Agreement on the application of SPS measures and the notifications requirements ; and their implementation as well as work of their related Committees. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the various transparency tools, including the Ag-IMS, SPS-IMS and ePing data systems, that are available to them to follow the relevant developments and discussions in the domain of agriculture and SPS, as well as to access the official documents.
