Description
The follow-up session of the 2023 Advanced SPS Course will provide participants with an opportunity to report on the progress and results of their action plans including the lessons learned and reflect on strategies to maintain and build on successful outcomes. This follow-up session will also confirm participants' understanding of the SPS Agreement, online transparency tools, and the work of the SPS Committee to further assist participants in applying their knowledge for the benefit of their countries and encourage participation in the work of the SPS Committee. Importantly, the follow-up session will be a good opportunity to reinforce the network of SPS experts created via the course and explore synergies in the SPS area. The follow-up session will take place in Geneva on 10-13 June 2024. It will include presentations from the participants as well as the WTO Secretariat and coaches , interactive exercises, and discussions based on participants' experiences with the SPS Agreement and implementation of action plans.
