Description
This workshop will serve as a refresher course for regulatory agencies on the basic principles, scope, coverage, objectives, standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures, and transparency provisions under the TBT Agreement, additionally, the workshop aims to provide technical expertise from the WTO in addressing STCs and similar concerns from stakeholders, provide updates on the efforts of the WTO Members including the Philippines in integrating GRP in the development and implementation of regulations. The workshop also aims to provide an overview in relation to drafting of standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment measures as well as its work as well as the step-by-step procedures for drafting TBT notification by regulatory agencies.
