Description
Virtual Workshop for ECOWAS Members has 2 objectives: to strengthen participants' knowledge of the Agreement on Agriculture and to enhance participants' knowledge of the negotiations process. It will consist of an introduction to the Agreement on Agriculture and the negotiations process, followed by topic by topic analysis of provisions and negotiating issues (market access, domestic support including public stockholding for food security purposes, export competition, export restrictions) and will finalize with a description of the Regular Committee on Agriculture work, and the notification requirements and the Ag-IMS database. Every session will be followed by a Q&A session.
