Description
This workshop is organized by the Market Access Division in cooperation with the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation (ITTC). The workshop offers specialized training to capital-based officials with direct responsibility in the preparing WTO import licensing notifications under the Agreement on Import Licensing Procedures and/or those coordinating import licensing/restrictions management.

Pre-requisite
All developing Members ( Including LDCs) are invited to nominate candidates. However, main target audience for this workshop are government officials: (1) who are capital-based officials with direct responsibility in preparing WTO import-licensing notifications; (2) who have demonstrably coomensurate knowledge and professional experience of his/her country's import licensing/control/management regimes. (3)who are fluent English is a must for effective engagement in workshop's discussion and presentations. (4) Selected participating Members are expected to submit new/updated import licensing notifications with 2 months after the workshop.
