Description
Upon the request of Chinese Taipei, a national workshop on import licensing and notification will be held in Taipei from 18 to 21 June 2019. The objectives of the activity include: (1) to improve the understanding of the Agreement on Import Licensing Procedures of government officials in different ministries reponsible for import licensing/control; (2) to train local officials how to access and retrieve information from the new WTO import licenisng database; (3) to clarify notification requirements under the Agreement and teach them how to use the new notification templates; (4) to help local officials prepare Chinese Taipei's new reply to the annual questionnaire for 2019. The TA activity will be delivered by staffs from MAD and ITTC.
