Description
The purpose of the three-days workshop is to provide a detailed briefing on the history and current-status of the fisheries subsidies negotiations, and for an exchange among the participating countries of their specific concerns in the light of their current policies. Thus, the workshop will involve a combination of presentations by the WTO Secretariat and discussion and exchange of experiences and ideas among the participants.
The invited Members would be the six Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member countries, plus Egypt and Morocco. An invitation will also be extended to the GCC Secretariat.
