Description
This national workshop on the TRIPS Agreement, held at Belarus' request, is designed to build Belarus' capacity for implementation of the TRIPS Agreement in advance of its foreseen accession to the WTO. The event covers a number of substantive areas of the TRIPS Agreement (i.e., standards on copyright and related rights, geographical indications, undisclosed information, IP enforcement) and also covers TRIPS transparency mechanisms and tools, as well as TRIPS-related WTO disputes. A separate meeting will be dedicated to IP issues in Belarus' Draft Working Party Report.
